NMU Homecoming parade schedule, route announced
MARQUETTE — Northern Michigan University will be holding their annual homecoming parade starting at 5:30 p.m. today.
The route will start in the NMU parking lot off Pine Street, head south on Pine Street to Fair Avenue, head west on Fair Avenue to Third Street, head south on Third Street to Hewitt Avenue, head east on Hewitt Avenue to Front Street, head north on Front Street to return to the starting point.
The parade will be escorted by the Marquette Police Department officers and streets along the route will be closed to through traffic during the parade.
