LANSING — The Michigan United Conservation Clubs will host the 2022 Michigan Out-of-Doors Youth Camp Charity Shoot at Multi-Lakes Conservation Association in downstate Commerce Charter Township on Aug. 12.

MUCC hosts the shoot to raise funds for our MOOD Youth Camp in downstate Chelsea. The funds raised at this event maintain and improve the facility and help the continuation of programming about hunting, fishing, trapping, shooting and conservation education for the campers.

The event consists of a 12-station sporting clay course scored out of 50 clays. Participants may enter as an individual or with a team.

The 2021 sponsors and participants helped us MUCC close to $17,000. The goal this year is to raise $20,000 for the MOOD Youth Camp. MUCC will host hosting about 200 campers this year, teaching hands-on skills like shooting, fishing and kayaking.
