MARQUETTE — Carol Hendrickson, E. Ridge St., Marquette, the second week winner in Radio Station WDMJ’s “Radio Reaches Everywhere” contest, was presented with a transistor radio by William F. Jackson, president of Northwest Radio of Michigan, co-sponsor of the contest along with The Mining Journal Radio Station and area Channel Master dealers. Miss Hendrickson’s entry told how she, as an elevator operator in a Marquette building, kept herself and two small boys entertained for more than a half hour when the elevator stalled between floors during a recent building power failure. Elden W. Wallace, program director of WDMJ, reminded listeners they have until midnight, March 8th, to submit entries for the final week’s contest. Details are aired daily over WDMJ.

Starting at $3.23/week.
