Restaurant week starts on Sunday

MARQUETTE –Celebrate the local flavors of Downtown Marquette’s dining scene during the annual Downtown Marquette Restaurant Week, March 6-12.

Downtown Marquette Restaurant Week provides the community the opportunity to experience a wide variety of culinary opportunities, all while supporting our local restaurants, according to a release from the Marquette Downtown Development Authority.

Participating restaurants pull out all of the stops to create delicious dishes to tantalize even the most discerning palates, the release stated. Whether it is fine dining, local seafood, artisan baked goods, pub grub, authentic ethnic cuisine, or just a good sandwich, find your favorite meals at one of the participating downtown gems. An ever-growing list of participating restaurants can be found at the Marquette DDA website, downtownmarquette.org/restaurant-week. “Downtown Marquette Restaurant Week is a highly anticipated event for both locals and visitors to the area. There’s something for everyone; with so many delicious offerings, it will be tough to choose where to go first!” stated Tara Laase-McKinney, Events and Promotions Coordinator for the Marquette Downtown Development Authority. “It is my favorite week of the year in Downtown Marquette.”

An ever-growing list of participating restaurants and menus can be found on the Marquette DDA website:https://www.downtownmarquette.org/restaurant-week-1 and are subject to change.
