MUNISING — Munising resident Pete Heyrman Jr. is going to hold a fundraiser for the scholarship program that bears his name, the Pete Heyrman Award Scholarship.

This fish fry fundraiser will take place from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23 at American Legion Post 131 in Munising.

Dinner of deep-fried Lake Superior whitefish and lake trout, pulled pork, fresh cut french fries, coleslaw and dessert will be available for $10.

There will be $1, $5 and $10 raffles, hundreds of prizes and the chance to win a Colorado hunt. The public is invited for an evening of great food, great prizes and great fun.
