K.I. SAWYER — Approximately 500 boys from seventh, eighth and ninth grades in pubic, parochial and private schools in Marquette were entertained Saturday at K.I. Sawyer Air Force Base in a cooperative project by the Kiwanis Clubs.

George T. Kendricks, Marquette, chairman of the event, said the project was held in connection with “Kid’s Day.” The youths were served cake and ice cream on the flightline at the base, and also inspected aircraft and viewed static displays set up for the occasion.
