≤ Oct. 2, Fall Phantasm, 6 to 11 p.m., Lakenenland Sculpture Park, Marquette.

≤ Oct. 2, Guided mushroom hike, 2 p.m., Vielmetti-Peters Nature Reserve, Negaunee Township. Register at bit.ly/3uhxNsr.

≤ Oct. 9-10, UP200 Dryland Dash. Dog-powered rig, scooter, bike and canicross races start at 10 a.m. both days at the Negaunee Township Park, 42 M-35, Negaunee.

≤ Oct. 9, U.P. Authors Day. Participating authors from Upper Michigan will gather at this event and book fair at the Campfire CoWorks facility from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Free admission. Visit https://www.uppaa.org/4th-up-authors-day/ for more information.

≤ Oct. 14-16, Ghosts of Lighthouse Point tours. Haunted tours benefit the Marquette Maritime Museum and Northern Michigan University Food Pantry. Kid and family friendly tours offered from 7 to 8 p.m., tours from 8 to 10 p.m. for teens and adults only. Tours leave every 10 minutes from the U.S. Coast Guard Station parking lot. Tickets available at Marquette Maritime Museum, 300 North Lakeshore Boulevard. ≤ Oct. 16, YMCA West End Haunted Hustle, 9 a.m, 350 Iron St., Negaunee.

≤ Oct. 30, Queen City Running Co. 6th annual Trick or Trot 5K race. A timed and measured 5K run/walk with a flexible start time.
