≤ Oct. 9-10, UP200 Dryland Dash. Dog-powered rig, scooter, bike and canicross races start at 10 a.m. both days at the Negaunee Township Park, 42 M-35, Negaunee.

≤ Oct. 14-16, Ghosts of Lighthouse Point tours. Haunted tours benefit the Marquette Maritime Museum and Northern Michigan University Food Pantry. Kid and family friendly tours offered from 7 to 8 p.m., tours from 8 to 10 p.m. for teens and adults only. Tours leave every 10 minutes from the U.S. Coast Guard Station parking lot.
