MARQUETTE — Marquette County Crop Hunger Walk, hosted by Marquette Hope Connection, is set for Oct. 10.

The event commences at Marquette Hope Connection, 927 W. Fair Ave., Marquette.

Registration is at 1:30 p.m. and the walk starts at 2 p.m.

Walkers are encouraged to collect donations to fight hunger. Register with a participating church. The goal is $8,000 and 100 walkers. 25% of funds stay local and will go to St. Vincent De Paul and the Northern Michigan University Food Bank.
