Absentee ballots are mailed

MARQUETTE –Absentee ballots have now been mailed to city of Marquette residents who have returned signed applications requesting them.

The City Clerk’s Office is open Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Signed election material may be dropped off in person, by mail or by utilizing the metal drop boxes, located at the southwest entrance to City Hall, at 300 W. Baraga Ave. or in front of the main entrance of the Municipal Service Center, at 1100 Wright St.

Residents can apply for an absentee ballot, as well as check their ballot or application status, using the State of Michigan portal located at www.mi.gov/vote.
