Artist offers demo at gallery
MARQUETTE — As part of this Thursday’s “First Thursday” events, local artist Marlene Wood will be doing a palette knife demo.
Everyone is invited to join in this event which will be at Zero Degrees Gallery in Marquette on Third and Ohio streets from 6-8 p.m. Small canvases will be available for onlookers to try their hand at palette knife painting.
Wood is one of Zero Degrees Gallery’s artists and a longtime art teacher.
