Planning commission to meet

MARQUETTE — Due to directives from the state of Michigan, the Tuesday Marquette City Planning Commission meeting will be held virtually without the public in physical attendance. The public is invited to view and participate in the meeting electronically. The meeting will be streamed on YouTube starting at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday. The YouTube channel is located at http://www.youtube.com/user/CityofMarquetteGov. The livestream may have at least a 20-second delay. There will be two options for public participation in the meetings: phone conferencing or written comment. There will be two public comment periods during each meeting, one for agenda items prior to the Old Business and New Business portions of the meeting, and one for non-agenda items after the Business portions of the meeting have been conducted. Comments will be limited to three minutes and speakers must give their name and address. Written comments should be limited to 500 words. Written comments can be submitted directly to dstensaas@marquettemi.gov and will be accepted until noon Tuesday.

To make a comment over the phone, call 312-626-6799 and use Meeting ID: 811 3314 4060.
