KATERI DARR

Kateri is the daughter of Francis and Theresa Darr.

Her extracurricular activities include Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Golf, Interact Club, NHS and student representative for MAPS Education Foundation. Outside of school she is on the Youth Advisory Council and part of the Youth Group at St. Peters Cathedral.

Kateri has received the Excellence in Education Scholarship, Kaufman Award, Local Scholarship and AP Scholar Award.

Kateri plans to attend the University of Michigan to major in Computer Science and minor in Biology. She would like to get a job analyzing data, working in a lab to cure diseases and do research.

PAIGE HENDRICKSON

Paige is the daughter of Scott and Melissa Hendrickson.

Her extracurricular activities include MSHS Figure Skating Team, Varsity Softball, Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Band and the Musical’s Pit Orchestra. Outside of school she is a member of the Marquette Symphony Orchestra, bass player in String Quintet and bass player in the Redeemer Lutheran Church’s Praise Band.

Paige has received an Excellence in Education Scholarship, Kaufman Award and a Local Scholarship.

Paige plans to attend the University of Michigan to major in Biochemistry and minor in Music. She aims to go to medical school to become a Pathologist.

MARIA HOENKE

Maria is the daughter of Fritz and Gayle Hoenke.

Her extracurricular activities include NHS and she is a Peer to Peer mentor. Outside of school she dances at Superior Dance Academy and Marquette Center for Dance; she is also a member of her church’s youth group and enjoys playing piano.

Maria has received an Excellence in Education Scholarship, Kaufman Award and a Local Scholarship.

Maria plans to attend Northern Michigan University in the fall and is undecided on her major.

CONNOR JOHNSON

Connor is the son of Greg and Jodi Johnson.

His extracurricular activities include Soccer, Basketball, Football, Bowling, Tennis and NHS. Outside of school he coaches and ref’s youth soccer.

Connor has received the Excellence in Education Scholarship, Kaufman Award, Local Scholarship and a MEA Scholarship.

Connor plans to attend Central Michigan University to major in Finance and Mechanical Engineering.

He would like to get an Aerospace engineering job to design and build propulsion systems for space launch vehicles.

HADLEY KETZENBERGER

Hadley is the daughter of Brent and Cynthia Ketzenberger.

Her extracurricular activities include tennis, Gymnastics, Diving, Track, Band and Student Council. Outside of school she enjoys Photography and participating in Youth Group.

Hadley has received an Excellence in Education Scholarship, Kaufman Award, Local Scholarship, Yale Book Award and an Axel Marin Engineering Scholarship.

Hadley plans to attend the University of Michigan to major in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. She would like to go onto grad school afterwards and obtain a Masters degree.

ANDREW PILLIFANT

Andrew is the son of Kit and Melissa Pillifant.

His extracurricular activities include Marching Band, Nordic Skiing, Track and Field, Disc Golf Club and NHS. Outside of school he is member of Boy Scouts; he also volunteers at Nursing Home Bingo and is a Friendship Supper Volunteer.

Andrew has received an Excellence in Education Scholarship, Kaufman Award, Local Scholarship, Michigan Elks Scholarship and a Northern Michigan Leadership Scholarship.

Andrew plans to attend Northern Michigan University. He is undecided on his major.

BREANNE SANDSTROM

Breanne is the daughter of Derek and Becky Sandstrom.

Her extracurricular activities include Varsity Tennis, Soccer, Renaissance Club and Spanish Club. Outside of school she dances at Superior Dance Academy.

Breanne has received an Excellence in Education Scholarship, Kaufman Award and a Local Scholarship.

Breanne plans to attend Michigan State University to major in Social Work with a minor in Spanish.

FINN SWATY

Finn is the son of Randy Swaty and Sarah Bixby.

His extracurricular activities include Track, Nordic Skiing, Swimming, NHS, Environmental Club, Student Council, We the People, Orchestra, Chorale and Musicals. Outside of school he is involved in community service activities and volunteering. He also enjoys mountain biking, canoe camping and hiking.

Finn has received an Excellence in Education Scholarship, Kaufman Award, Local Scholarship and a UP Scholars Scholarship from the University of Michigan.

Finn plans to attend the College of Literature, Sciences and the Arts at the University of Michigan.

He is currently undecided on his major but has interests in an Environmental or Entrepreneurship majors.

ERIN VANDERSCHAAF

Erin is the daughter of Lyle and Connie VanderSchaaf.

Her extracurricular activities include NHS, Secretary of the Key Club, Mountain Bike Club and Mountain Bike Race Team. Outside of school she is a member of the Wildcat Aquatic Club/YMCA Swim Team, NTN Trail Ambassador and a member of the 906 Adventure Team.

Erin has received an Excellence in Education Scholarship, Kaufman Award, Local Scholarship, Presidential Scholarship at Northern Michigan University and an Athletic Scholarship from Northern Michigan University.

Erin plans to attend Northern Michigan University to participating in a Pre-Med Program and competing on the Northern Michigan University’s Swim Team.

HANNAH YOUNG

Hannah is the daughter of Jonathan and Jennifer Young.

Her extracurricular activities include Basketball, Tennis, Soccer, Wind Symphony, Jazz Band, Environmental Club, Interact Club, Renaissance Club and NHS. Outside of school she is a volunteer for the NMU Junior Wildcats Youth Basketball Camp and volunteers for Father Marquette School’s VBS.

Hannah has received an Excellence in Education Scholarship, Kaufman Award, Local Scholarship, Yale Book Club Award, AP Scholar with Honor and Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Award.

Hannah plans to attend the University of Michigan to major in either Biology or Chemistry.

She plans to earn a Doctor of Optometry degree afterwards.
