Washington Street lane closure today
MARQUETTE — The north sidewalk and northernmost lane of Washington Street will be closed today, April 15, in front of 1016 W. Washington St., just east of Rublein Street. All westbound vehicles will be shifted into one lane and no disruptions to through traffic are expected. Smith Construction will be working to install utilities in the area. The lane closure will begin at 8 a.m. and is expected to be reopened by the end of the day. The public is advised to use caution when traveling through this area and to be alert for construction and advisory signing.
