MARQUETTE -- The grand opening for Niik Creative Co. will take place from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.
The Studio Gallery on Presque Isle is re-opening under the new ownership of Niikah Hatfield.
"Dedicated to a mission of creative and authentic living, Niik is a functioning ceramics studio providing hand-crafted home goods," organizers said in an announcement.
Everything is made in the studio or by local artisans.
"We are so excited to open the doors for the summer and give you a chance to see what has been happening all winter," organizers said in the announcement. "Join us for free delicacies by Moon Rae Cakes and live music."
Tentative outdoor music lineup (weather permitting):
5 p.m., Chelsea Sage
6 p.m., Niikah Hatfield & Band: Gretchen McKenzie-Trost, Dylan Mckenzie Trost, & Noah Pickett
7 p.m., Home: Patrick Booth, Noah Pickett, Luke Arquette
Music will be held on front porch, attendees are invited to bring blankets/chairs to watch. This is a family-friendly event, but attendees are asked to be mindful of social distancing. Mask required.
