REPUBLIC — Troopers from the Michigan State Police Negaunee Post are investigating the breaking and entering of Peter’s True Value in south Republic during the early morning hours of April 1.

The suspect or suspects broke into the business and stole several items, including tobacco and alcohol.

Evidence technicians from MSP obtained several prints and DNA samples from the scene.

The owner of Peter’s True Value is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
