Gwinn candidates to be interviewed

GWINN — The Gwinn Area Community Schools Board of Education has selected the three candidates to interview for superintendent of schools on Tuesday.

Interviewing at 5 p.m. will be Glenda Oginski, current director of curriculum, instruction and assessment in Merrill, Wisconsin, and former elementary principal in Merrill; Antigo, Wisconsin; and Menominee.

Interviewing at 6 p.m. will be Kendra Feldhusen, current K-6 virtual teacher in Newberry, former statewide field team leadership consultant for MI Excel and K-6 building administrator/K-12 instructional coach in Engadine.

Interviewing at 7 p.m. will be Brandon Bruce, current high school principal in downstate Hart, former middle school principal in downstate Union City and athletic director in Newberry.

Interviews will be held in person in the high school/middle school library. The board of education invites parents, family members, the community and staff members to attend the interviews and offer feedback. Superintendent search services are being provided by the Michigan Association of School Boards.
