Cairn along the big lake
With beautiful springtime weather descending on the region in recent weeks, locals have taken to Marquette’s lakeshore to construct rock cairns, which are defined as human-made stacks, mounds or piles of rocks that have been built by cultures around the world for many different purposes, according to livescience.com.
