MARQUETTE — United States Naturbahn Training Team members, Dominic Carello, Greg Guertin, Tammy Wills and Carin Nelson, worked out at the team’s newly designated official training facility at Tourville Apartments Athletic Club in Marquette. “The physical conditioning achieved through this program will aid in the team’s ability to train and compete in the U.S. and Europe,” Fred Anderson, chairman of the U.S. Naturbahn Committee, said in announcing Tourville as a team sponsor.

NEGAUNEE — The sedan stolen from in front of the Negaunee high school late Saturday evening, where it was left by the owner, Gene Paranti of Princeton, was recovered Tuesday by state police officers in the Barnum Location near Ishpeming, where it has been abandoned by a tall, scarred and tattooed man, who stole it and who later bought gasoline and oil at a filling station here and drove away without paying the attendant. The car was returned to the owner who told officers, after checking the speedometer, that it had been driven about 200 miles. It was stolen while Mr. Paranti and party of friends were attending a benefit performance of an Italian play last Saturday evening. Meanwhile state police are searching for the tall stranger who, it is believed, also stole a car belonging to Mrs. Victoria Groome from the Erkkila garage several weeks ago.
