MARQUETTE — The Marquette Electricians Local 1070 Midget AAA hockey team turned in productive performances in its latest road trip. The Electricians picked up a victory and a tie in the Steel City Tournament in Sault, Ontario. “This is the best hockey we’ve played all year,” Electricians Coach Chris Limback said. “We still have a good chance to make it to the finals, and I think we can win if we get there.” Chris Engum paced the Electricians with four goals of the weekend. Saturday, Brad Muscoe’s goal, with 45 seconds and their goalie pulled, lifted the Electricians to a 3-3 tie with Timmons, Ontario. Engum and Kevin Mylander netted the Electricians’ other scores. In Friday’s game, Engum’s hat trick paced the Electricians to a 5-3 triumph over the Sault Ste. Marie Elks. Mike Johnson and Mylander added single tallies.
