Commission to meet virtually

MARQUETTE — Due to directives from the state, Monday’s Marquette City Commission meeting will be held virtually, with city commissioners and staff attending remotely through Zoom video conferencing.

The meeting will be streamed on Channel 191 and YouTube starting at 6 p.m.

The YouTube channel is located at www.youtube.com/user/CityofMarquetteGov. The livestreams may have at least a 20-second delay.

There will be two options for public participation in the meetings: phone conferencing or written comment.

There will be two public comment periods during each meeting, one at the beginning and one at the end.

Comments will be limited to three minutes and speakers must give their name and address.

Written comments will be limited to 500 words.

Written comments can be submitted directly to shobbins@marquettemi.gov; written submissions will be accepted until noon on Monday.
