MARQUETTE – City offices located at Marquette City Hall, Lakeview Arena, the Arts and Culture Center inside Peter White Public Library and the Municipal Service Center will be closed on Thursday and Friday in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Marquette Police, Fire and Public Works and Utilities will remain operational during this time. There will be no change in garbage pickup for city residents.

On Nov. 30, city facilities will continue being closed to the public due to Executive Order 2020-21. This includes City Hall, the Municipal Service Center, Fire Stations 1 and 2, the police department, Lakeview Arena, the Senior Center, the Wastewater Treatment Plant and the Water Treatment Plant. City operations will continue. To contact the city about essential business, please prioritize electronic communication when possible. For emergency services, dial 911. For non-emergency police assistance, dial 906-228-0400. The police department will be evaluating non-emergency calls and will dispatch services accordingly.
