Winter parking ban starts Sunday
ISHPEMING — The city of Ishpeming parking ban goes into effect on Sunday and runs through April 30.
The ban prohibits the parking of a vehicle on any street in the city between 1 and 6 a.m. If a vehicle is found to be interfering with snow plowing during this time, a vehicle on the roadway could be towed at the owner’s expense.
The normal ticket for violating this city ordinance is $50.
