MARQUETTE — The multiuse path between South McClellan Avenue and South Seventh Street in Marquette will be used to access overhead electrical infrastructure this week, according to an announcement from the city of Marquette.

The public may encounter utility vehicles blocking portions of the path while this maintenance is in progress. The maintenance project started Monday morning and is expected to last around five days.

Path users are asked to maintain a safe distance from equipment and not to approach crews while they are working, as tasks that they perform put them near energized equipment “where the outmost focus and concentration is necessary,” city officials said in an announcement.
