MARQUETTE — The Marquette Regional History Center and City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center announce the Holiday Outdoor Wreath Sale with “Shailah’s Flower Garden” to be conducted from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 14.

Shailah’s Flower Garden is a floral business with a mission of growing and sourcing sustainably grown flowers and materials. Focusing on seasonal wreaths, weddings, workshops and floral design, Shailah’s Flower Garden is located at Belsolda Farm, established by Shailah Pelto, farmer and florist.

Shailah has been making and selling wreaths for almost a decade now.

This year’s Holiday Art Sale will have a huge variety of wreaths available, large and small. Handmade garland is sold in 10-foot lengths and full of an assortment of fragrant evergreens. Swags and centerpieces, arranged in a variety of styles and sizes, are available.

Shailah has developed her style over the years working in dried fruit, antlers, feathers and twigs.

The sale will take place at the Marquette Regional History Center Outdoor Green Space, located at 145 W. Spring St., Marquette.

The museum will also hold its annual Dollhouse Days, a membership drive at discounted purchase rates, live music by Trailer Hitch from noon-2 p.m., weather permitting, food trucks and the History Center gift shop will feature some of a Holiday Art Sale artists for the event.
