MARQUETTE — “Cans for Critters,” the can and bottle Fundraiser for MooseWood, continues.

MooseWood asks people to consider donating returnable cans and bottles to MooseWood as they are collecting them to raise some much needed funds for the nature center.

Drop off rinsed cans in paper bags or in plastic bags.

The “Can for Critters” can and bottle drive will continue through the end of October.

September dates:

≤ Thursdays – 17, 24 from noon-2 p.m.

≤ Fridays – 18, 25 from noon-2 p.m.

≤ Saturdays – 19, 26 from noon-4 p.m.

≤ Sundays – 21, 28 from noon-4 p.m.

Visit at www.moosewood.org as additional dates in October will be posted soon. Or give MooseWood a call at 228-6250 before dropping off returnables. Only drop-off can donations during the posted times above.

Anyone elderly still sheltering in place, send an email at moosewoodnc@gmail.com and MooseWood can make a driveway pick-up.

Volunteers will wear masks and will social distance during the pick up.
