MARQUETTE — A woman was injured in an accident Friday morning in Marquette Township.

The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office said it responded to a personal-injury accident at 10:55 a.m. Friday at Marquette County Road 492 near Lake Enchantment Road. A 2003 Subaru driven by Kaleen Marie Olli, 26, crossed the center line and left the roadway, crashing into an embankment.

Olli, who was wearing a seatbelt, was injured in the crash, although her 2-year-old daughter, who was in a child seat, was uninjured. Olli was transported to UP Health System by Marquette Township EMS. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash. Olli was cited for careless driving.
