MARQUETTE — Authors, poets, songwriters and listeners are invited to an outside edition of Inspired Words, at 7 p.m. Aug. 5 on the Peter White Public Library’s North Front Street steps.

Share some of your recent work, be inspired by other writers, and get feedback from the listening audience. The presentations will not be judged. Presentations are open to all genres of writing as long as the material is suitable for all ages, unplugged and original work.

Bring a chair or blanket to sit on to enjoy this quarterly event. Attendees are requested to wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines.

A rain date has been set for 7 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 6.
