Negaunee two-vehicle crash results in minor injuries
NEGAUNEE — Two people were injured as the result of a two-vehicle accident in Negaunee.
A tan Chevy Equinox driven Pamela Gantz failed to stop at a red light at the intersection of Baldwin Avenue and U.S. 41 while attempting to make a west-bound turn, at about 6:10 p.m. Thursday.
Gantz’s vehicle collided with an eastbound Ford F-150 driven by Terry Oelfke of Ishpeming, which rolled over as a result of the crash.
Oelfke and a passenger were transported to UPHS-Bell by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries.
The accident is currently under investigation by the Negaunee City Police.
The Negaunee Police were assisted at the scene by the Negaunee Fire Department, Michigan State Police, Ishpeming City Police and an off-duty Marquette City Police Captain.
