MARQUETTE — Troopers from the Michigan State Police Negaunee Post were dispatched to National Mine Friday morning for a report of a structure fire.

Upon arrival, the residence was completely engulfed in flames, according to an MSP release. Initial investigation into the fire deemed the incident as suspicious.

Three female subjects said to have been in the residence were arrested on unrelated charges. The Michigan State Police fire investigator was requested to the scene and an investigation into the cause of the fire is being conducted.
