MARQUETTE — Marquette Drive between U.S. 41 and Lakeview Drive is now undergoing phase one reconstruction work and will have traffic disruptions, according to an announcement from the city of Marquette. Phase one, which is one of two phases, is expected to last three weeks, city officials said. A. Lindberg & Sons Inc. is the general contractor for the project.

Access for the local residents will be made available with the use of the existing road and a temporary roadway. City officials ask those who do not live in the area to avoid traveling in that area, as the streets are not through streets and end at cul-de-sacs.
