MARQUETTE — Marquette County will be further limiting access to the Marquette County Courthouse Complex and the Ishpeming Service Center in an effort to be consistent with Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s executive order 2020-21 and “in the interest of combatting the spread of the coronavirus and given the severity of risk posed to the public,” a press release states.

Effective today through April 13, all visitors to the Marquette County Courthouse Complex and the Ishpeming Service Center will be by appointment only. The public is urged to use the phone or online services at this time. A link to these services can be found at www.co.marquette.mi.us.

There will be one point of access to the courthouse complex, which will be through the doors between the Marquette County Jail and the courthouse annex building off of Baraga Avenue. For current COVID-19 information, visit mqthealth.org or call 1-888-535-6136.
