County clerk operations change

MARQUETTE — Operations at the Marquette County Clerk’s office have changed in response to COVID-19.

“Due to the state of emergency related to COVID-19, the intent of the Marquette County Clerk is to consider the needs of the community while ensuring best practices are in place for the health and welfare of patrons and employees,” a press release from the clerk’s office states.

Beginning March 30 through April 9 the clerk’s office will be open from 8 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday by appointment only for court filings and personal protection orders. Vital records may also be ordered by mailing requests to the clerk’s office or through online services at www.co.marquette.mi.us.

All other questions concerning clerk services should be emailed and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
