MARQUETTE — Beginning today, all city facilities in Marquette will be closed to the public which includes City Hall, the Municipal Service Center, Fire Stations 1 and 2, the Police Department, Lakeview Arena, the Senior Center, the Wastewater Treatment Plant and the Water Treatment Plant. Presque Isle Park will be closed to vehicular traffic, but pedestrians will still be allowed in.

City operations will continue but with reduced staffing levels for the duration of the Executive Order 2020-21, and phone availability will be limited. For essential business, city officials urge people to prioritize electronic communication at marquette.gov/departments.
