MARQUETTE -- One person sustained non-life-threatening injuries after they were involved in a two-car personal injury crash in Marquette Township Sunday night.
The Marquette County Sheriff's Office responded to the crash near the intersection of U.S. 41 and County Road 492 at approximately 10:10 p.m Sunday, a press release from the office states.
A 2015 Chevrolet pickup truck, driven by a 22-year-old Marquette man, was exiting the Taco Bell driveway when it crossed over the centerline and struck a westbound 2001 Mitsubishi SUV driven by a 23-year-old Ishpeming man.
A female passenger of the Mitsubishi suffered non-life threatening injuries to her neck and knee and was transported to UP Health System-Marquette for further treatment and evaluation. The crash remains under investigation, police said.
The sheriff's office was assisted on scene by Marquette Township Fire and EMS.
