Man arrested on meth lab charge
CALUMET — A Calumet man was arrested in relation to a meth lab Monday.
Detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team arrested a 19-year-old male from Calumet on one count of operating a methamphetamine lab. The arrest is a result of a search warrant executed last week in Calumet Township, a press release from UPSET states.
The case is being reviewed by the Houghton County Prosecutor’s Office and additional charges are pending along with additional arrests as the investigation is still on-going. The suspect’s name will not be released until his arraignment in the 97th District Court in Houghton, police said.
