MARQUETTE — The National Alliance on Mental Illness-Alger/Marquette offers free, confidential peer support groups and educational meetings for individuals living with mental illness, and friends or families living with an individual with mental illness.

An education meeting will be at 7 p.m. Monday in the Baraga Place Conference Room, 129 W. Baraga Ave., Marquette. Lynn Johnson (Pathways Community Mental Health) and Amy Poirier (West End Suicide Prevention/Great Lakes Recovery) will provide a suicide prevention grant up-date, and discuss community training, the LIVE initiative, and planned future grant activity.
