MARQUETTE — Mrs. L. F. Hunt of 368 W. Park St. is a veteran bird watcher who is accustomed to seeing unusual species of birds in her yard, but even she had to blink in wonderment when she glanced out the window the other day and spotted a parakeet romping around her bird feeding stations and bird baths. She thinks the parakeet is a fugitive from some resident’s living room, and she’s worried that the tropical bird will come to a sad end as soon as cold weather sets in unless the bird’s owner comes to its rescue. The parakeet, Mrs. Hunt said, has a green head. Its coloring shades into a dark blue on the tail feathers. The bird is light blue around the legs.
