Storm causes damage in Gladstone
A thunderstorm that rolled through parts of the Upper Peninsula caused damage in the City of Gladstone Monday. On its Facebook page, the city posted late Monday afternoon: “Please stay off the streets at this time as many of the roads are blocked off by numerous fallen trees. We will update you when the streets have been opened. Emergency crews are working to open all streets as quickly as possible! Please use extreme caution!” Later, a Facebook post indicated the trees had been cleared from the roadways, but drivers were urged to use caution. (Photo by Dawn Hammond, Photography by Dawn)
