July 15

≤ 4:35 p.m., report of subjects loitering/camping around business, requesting extra patrol checks in area, 1400 block O’Dovero Drive

≤ 4:40 p.m., reported possible stolen cell phone turned into the department by subjects who had bought it on the street evening prior, incident report, 300 block West Baraga Avenue

≤ 5 p.m., report of a subject attempting to send money to subject/organization that was a scam, money transfer did not go through, prevented it and warned subject it was a scam, 1100 block West Washington Street

≤ 5:22 p.m., inked applicant fingerprints, 300 block West Baraga Avenue

≤ 6 p.m., driving while license suspended, processed and released, Washington Street near McClellan Avenue

≤ 6 p.m., lost and found property, contents of pack were gathered by the finder and turned into the department, owner called at the same time, was advised that pack was at department, subject will return to Marquette on July 16 to pick up, U.S. 41 South near Shiras Hills

≤ 6:30 p.m., non-traffic property-damage accident in parking lot, 100 block Genesee Street

≤ 7:55 p.m., possible lost and found property, cooler containing core/soil samples left in front yard, cooler was marked “do not move,” left in place, caller advised to call the following day if it is not picked up, 300 block East Arch Street

July 16

≤ 1:50 a.m., report of disorderly guest, subject taken to room for evening, will be leaving in the morning, 400 block West Washington Street

≤ 2:55 a.m., trespass complaint, subject located and issued a trespass letter, subject removed from property, 1100 block West Washington Street

≤ 3:27 a.m., officer conducting property inspections located an open door at business, business checked, oversight, building secure, 100 block West Washington Street

≤ 3:40 a.m., suspicious subject going from building to building, unsure what they are up to, area checked by officers, unable to locate, 1900 block Freedom Drive

≤ 5:39 a.m., security requests assistance with skunk problem, assistance given, 800 block West Baraga Avenue

≤ 10:15 a.m., vehicle lockout, entry gained, 500 block West College Avenue

≤ 10:48 a.m., yellow backpack on beach has been there overnight, owner contacted, 800 block South Lake Street

≤ 10:52 a.m., suspicious subject sitting outside on the bike path, belongings on ground and in woods, seems confused, had fallen and hit head, transferred over to EMS, 1400 block West Fair Avenue

≤ 11:44 a.m., caller hit overhead door on car wash, 1200 block West Washington Street

≤ 12:41 p.m., skunk removed from trap, 100 block West Prospect Street

≤ 12:44 p.m., suspicious, arguing and yelling, verbal, 1900 block Bejig Street

≤ 1:14 p.m., harassment, 300 block North Third Street

≤ 2:05 p.m., hit-and-run accident, bus backed into, Peter White Drive

≤ 2:08 p.m., unwanted subject visiting, administrator will turn person away, 400 block Fisher Street

≤ 2:44 p.m., assistance, 800 block South Lake Street

≤ 3:10 p.m., car in lot, has been there a couple days, was being moved when officer arrived, 500 block North Third Street
