July 12

≤ 6:43 p.m., property damage accident, Hospital Drive near roundabout

≤ 10:09 p.m., found wallet, returned to owner, 300 block West Baraga Avenue

≤ 10:15 p.m., lockout, unable to open, 1900 block U.S. 41 South

≤ 10:16 p.m., harassment from neighbor, suspect refused to talk to officers but was warned through the window that if it continues, charges will be sought, 300 block Genesee Street

≤ 10:28 p.m., warrant arrest, lodged, 100 block Midway Drive

Saturday

≤ 12:47 a.m., barking dog, made contact with the owner and warned, 700 block North Front Street

≤ 2:19 a.m., loud noise complaint, subject was playing a guitar and singing, warned, 100 block West Arch Street

≤ 4:10 a.m., intoxicated subject running around banging on doors, was at the wrong apartment, officers assisted in getting to the correct one, 300 block Whetstone Road

≤ 8:10 a.m., motorist assist, M-553 near Vistanna Drive

≤ 8:15 a.m., unlawful driving away of automobile, suspect known, complainant didn’t wish to pursue charges, 1200 block Waldo Street

≤ 10:36 a.m., report of fraud, complainant had questions about a civil matter, 200 block South Fifth Street

≤ 11:32 a.m., found I.D., 200 block North Front Street

≤ 12:45 p.m., stolen package, report, 400 block West Baraga Avenue

≤ 1:14 p.m., parking complaint, vehicle moved, 800 block Lee Street

≤ 2:53 p.m., retail fraud, report, 1400 block O’Dovero Drive

≤ 3:06 p.m., report of people shooting into the sand pit, officers unable to locate in the sand pit, bystanders said they heard shots further into the township, officers did not hear any gunshots, 2300 block Wright Street

≤ 4:23 p.m., caller reports receiving counterfeit money, officer had the bill checked, older bill but it checked out, 600 block West Washington Street

≤ 5:29 p.m., loud noise complaint, no noise/no music at time of contact, 300 block Pine Street

≤ 5:48 p.m., caller reports observing seven to eight subjects in a small area of woods, suspicious, four subjects cited for open intoxicants, 200 block South Fifth Street

≤ 7:13 p.m., lockout, 100 block West Spring Street

≤ 7:30 p.m., officer observed a subject in an area which he is not allowed to be in/trespass complaint, subject arrested and lodged for trespass, cited for open intoxicants, South Seventh Street

≤ 8:06 p.m., property damage accident in parking lot, 500 block Lakeshore Boulevard

≤ 8:23 p.m., disorderly subjects arguing, subjects moved along per request, 400 block West Washington Street

≤ 9:42 p.m., caller reports smelling smoke, concerned there is a fire in the area, area checked, officers located a bonfire at a nearby residence, everything was within the rules, 900 block West College Avenue

≤ 9:51 p.m., caller reports male subject passed out of sidewalk, subject is not responsive to officer, EMS/fire requested to check on subject, transferred over to EMS, North Fourth Street near West Bluff Street

≤ 10:15 p.m., lockout, opened, 400 block High Street

≤ 10:59 p.m., caller reports hearing a subject yelling, female subject was just banging on caller’s door, unsure what is going on, family dispute, informational report to be completed, 500 block Pioneer Road

≤ 11:19 p.m., loud party complaint, not loud on arrival, advised of complaint, 500 block North Front Street

≤ 11:46 p.m., loud noise complaint/fireworks going off in the area, area checked, noise has stopped, unable to locate, 2000 block Presque Isle Avenue

≤ 11:59 p.m., loud noise complaint, fireworks going off in the area, all quiet, unable to locate, 400 block North Third Street

Sunday

≤ 12:45 a.m., traffic stop, possible drunk driver, subject arrested for operating while intoxicated, first offense, West Ridge Street near McClellan Avenue

≤ 2:09 a.m., subject refusing to leave, subject removed and trespassed from business, 400 block West Washington Street

≤ 2:15 a.m., fireworks somewhere in the area, area checked, fireworks had stopped, unable to locate, 100 block West Spring Street

≤ 2:22 a.m., fireworks going off in the area, officers located them and three subjects were cited for violation of fireworks ordinance, 100 block West Washington Street

≤ 3:30 a.m., subjects on beach being loud and disorderly, beach and surrounding area checked, all quiet, gone on arrival, Lakeshore Boulevard

≤ 4:31 a.m., car versus deer property-damage accident, accident occurred outside the city, officer removed deer from roadway to eliminate the obstruction, 2200 block U.S. 41 South
