Munising’s downtown mural project is coming to life. The first, Munising Outdoors, is in the alley side of Madigan's Hardware. The second on the history of communication and is on the west side of Hiawatha Communications Inc. The third is the history of Munising. The murals were commissioned by the Alger County Chamber of Commerce and the Munising Downtown Development Authority with funding from Art Place, a Prosperous Places Mini-Grant and the Munising Visitors Bureau.
