MARQUETTE — Two people were treated for minor injuries after a two-vehicle personal injury accident took place on M-28 East near Wintergreen Trail in Chocolay Township this morning.

The accident occurred just before 8 this morning, according to responders at the scene. Traffic on M-28 East was temporarily disrupted as responders cleared debris and towed the two vehicles from the scene.

The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office, the Chocolay Township Police Department, the Chocolay Township Fire Department and UP Health System – Marquette responded to the scene.
