Boat parade set for Fourth of July
MARQUETTE — The Marquette Boat Parade will be on Thursday, July Fourth, with Friday as the weather-delay date.
The parade forms up at 9 p.m. Thursday at the “elbow” in the Lower Harbor breakwater. The parade begins at 9:30 p.m.
For boats shorter than 30 feet and for boats 30 feet and above, there will be recognition for Most Dramatic Light Display, Most Original July Fourth theme and Most Spirited.
Parade communication will be on marine channel 12 with hourly bulletins at 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.
