MARQUETTE — The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of two KTM motorcycles from Race Driven Inc. of Marquette Township, formerly known as Zambon’s North Country Sales.

The motorcycles were stolen from the business at 2223 U.S. 41 between 7:30 p.m. Friday and 7:30 a.m. Saturday, police said.

Both motorcycles are 2020 300 XC TPI models that are orange and white with black frames, police said.

Both of the motorcycles were still in shipping packages from the manufacturer and were not fully assembled. Each package consisted of a wooden pallet on the bottom and cardboard packaging on top. The packages are 20 inches wide, 44 inches tall and 75 inches long, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies continue to investigate the incident as of this morning.
