MARQUETTE — The Marquette West Rotary Foundation is accepting grant proposals for 2019 funding until June 8.

To be eligible for Marquette West Rotary Foundation funding an application should meet the following criteria. Funding should be for programs and projects that will benefit children and youth, the elderly, people with disabilities, people living in poverty or any combination of those.

Marquette West Rotary Foundation funding should directly benefit groups or organizations that serve and reside in Marquette County. Applications must be submitted by a governmental or nonprofit organization. Due to limited funding, the submission of a proposal does not guarantee funding.

The Marquette West Rotary Foundation receives funding for grants from the annual HarborFest held in August. This family-oriented festival celebrates the end of summer and combines music, activities for youth and food. HarborFest will be Aug. 23 and 24 in Mattson Lower Harbor Park in Marquette.
