May 12

≤ 5:40 p.m., animal complaint, caller reports there is a bird in the fireplace in her house, bird was captured and set free, 1100 block North Seventh Street

≤ 6:29 p.m., report of a suspicious male subject, subject was waiting for ride to pick him up, 2000 block U.S. 41 West

≤ 7:50 p.m., burglar alarm, false alarm, building was checked and found secure, 1200 block South McClellan Avenue

May 13

≤ 10:27 a.m., vehicle parked in lot with two flat tires, message left for owner to move within a couple of days to avoid towing, 1200 block South McClellan Avenue

≤ 10:30 a.m., report of concrete spill in the roadway, found to be gravel, contact made to business owner and advised to clean it up, U.S. 41 near McClellan Avenue

≤ 10:32 a.m., report of possible abandoned vehicle, tagged for abandoned, West Spring Street near Fourth Street

≤ 11:29 a.m., request for disposal of ammunition, 300 block West Baraga Avenue

≤ 11:55 a.m., report of possible vandalism complaint, subjects possibly spraying graffiti, unable to locate any new graffiti, contact made with two subjects, West Washington Street near Seventh Street

≤ 1:23 p.m., found wallet, Moran Street

≤ 1:26 p.m., landlord/tenant issue, civil, 700 block West Ridge Street

≤ 1:49 p.m., traffic accident, U.S. 41 near McClellan Avenue

≤ 1:54 p.m., male trying to open car door handles, witness did not observe him gain entry or take possession of anything, subject denies any larceny, West Baraga Avenue near McClellan Avenue

≤ 2:22 p.m., hit-and-run property-damage accident, 400 block West Washington Street

≤ 2:23 p.m., failure to pay, fuel drive-off, accidental, card reader malfunction, owner contacted and advised, 500 block West Washington Street

≤ 3:14 p.m., vehicle lockout, opened, 1200 block Wilson Street

≤ 3:29 p.m., be-on-lookout for erratic driver aired through central dispatch, vehicle located and was traveling in a safe manner, North Front Street near East Ridge Street

≤ 4 p.m., stray dog, transferred over to owner, 1300 block Second Street

≤ 4:37 p.m., unknown vehicle threw unknown pills out the window, to be destroyed, 400 block Fisher Street

≤ 6:46 p.m., threats complaint, report completed, 1900 block Longyear Avenue

≤ 6:52 p.m., caller reports neighbor has loud exhaust on a truck and would like subject talked to about it, officer spoke with owner of truck and he will do what he can to keep the peace, 800 block Spruce Street
