City advises against taking timber
MARQUETTE — Due to hazards presented by equipment and tree felling, non-construction related personnel are not permitted in the area involving the Semco Energy pipeline right-of-way near the Noquemanon South Trails Trailhead, according to a press release from the city of Marquette.
The release states it is a safety hazard and will be considered theft for any non-construction individuals to harvest felled timber from the area.
