Chamber Children’s Carnival held

The Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Chamber of Commerce hosted the third annual Chamber Children’s Carnival Thursday evening at Rock River Lanes in Ishpeming. The free event was open to the public and included activities such as a bounce house, face painting, games and a dunk tank. Members of the Westwood High School football team, who were there to volunteer at the event, converse with Aspen Ridge Elementary School’s principal Chris Marana seated in the dunk tank just before events began. Every child who attended received a hot dog and pop. “It’s a chance for the chamber businesses and the community to inter-mix and get together and just have a fun night,” Bob Hendrickson, GINCC executive director, said.
