SKANDIA — As the congregation looks back on 125 years of ministry, Emanuel Lutheran Church of Skandia invites the community to a Celebration of Weddings at 2 p.m. Sunday.

The date was listed incorrectly on Saturday’s Bulletin Board.

The program will include a presentation of Scandinavian wedding traditions by Gisele Duehring, displays of wedding memorabilia, and the sharing stories. Refreshments including wedding cake will be served.

Those married in the church, members, and others in the area are invited to attend and to bring wedding memorabilia for display: pictures, wedding dresses, bulletins, guest books, or other items. Display items should be labeled and, if possible, brought to the church on Saturday between 10 a.m. and noon.
