NEGAUNEE — The Iron Range Hockey Association will host the IRHA Johnson Strong Fundraiser from 3-6 p.m. Saturday at the Negaunee Ice Arena.

This event is a memorial/fundraiser game for the Johnson family at their team’s first home game since a traffic accident that claimed two Johnson family members.

The game will be dedicated to Will and Jake, who died from injuries sustained in the crash, and Kyle Johnson who is battling back from injuries he received.

All proceeds from the T-shirt sale, car decals, 50/50, and silent auction items will be given to the Johnson family, according to the Facebook post for the event. A short ceremony to dedicate a banner and jerseys in their memory will take place: #Johnsonstrong.
